Meet John

John A. Najarian is a passionate fourth-generation jeweler who, despite graduating from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics, couldn’t but pursue his love for gemstones and jewelry crafting. John received a scholarship from the Gemological Institute of America to leave it as a Graduate Gemologist and went back to continue building and crafting his family’s legacy with the help of his team. The legacy that John A. Najarian has is not a jewelry “shop” but rather a house of original beauty; as John puts it: “I don’t just sell jewelry; I like to bring joy to my client’s lives.”

Well, we have none! We work day and night to keep our shop a unique destination for jewelry lovers in Jordan to come, enjoy a constantly renewed source of charm and inspiration, and find the missing pieces to their life stories.

At John Najarian, we support creative artists and want to help them to find their way in the business world.
One of our collaborations was when we fell in love with the work of the sculptor and painter “Hala” and asked her to create a special art piece, “sculpture”, that reflects our brand and heritage.

Who is Hala?

Hala Twal, a Jordanian sculptor and painter, was born 1990 in Amman.
She has a bachelor’s degree in the fine arts-sculpting field from the faculty of art and design at the University of Jordan. Hala’s primary focus has always been observing women in their natural way of living. She creates her sculptures using different materials, clay (molds and casts), wood, stone, cement, and resin. All of which are inspired by women, nature, and archaeology.
Hala actively participates in national and international art symposiums and workshops in Jordan, Slovakia, Russia, Austria, and Hungary since 2014. She is also a member of the Earth project established in Austria. She participated in several group exhibitions such as; Souq Fann at Zara Center, Artilicious opening and first-anniversary group exhibition, Nabad Art Gallery, and a solo exhibition at Darna Immobilien, Berlin- Germany.
